PLAYBACK THEATRE TRAINING SEASON
JULY - NOVEMBER 2022
Organised by Community Arts Network(CAN) and 3 Cups of Kopi
Event Partner - Aardvark Events & Studios
After a Training Crash Course, two performances and a few jam sessions in the first half of 2022, what's next?
In this regular Training Season, 3 Cups of Kopi (3Cups) Playback Theatre Ensemble will continue to meet to train existing members as well as those who wish to find out about Playback Theatre.
We will cover several useful skills, forms, rituals, ethics, and practice pertaining to Playback Theatre. We're going to try to make it relevant for seasoned playbackers as well as newcomers. Some sessions will involve jamming and exploration.Over 14 bite-sized workshop sessions, we will focus on different facets of Playback Theatre. Participants can choose to learn or explore at their own pace as there is no expectation to put up a public performance at the end of this season.
The goal is simply to create a space where everyone can learn and practice together. Come find out more about Playback Theatre, or work on deepening your current practice. Try a single session, or 3, or all 14!
